Don't Just Stand There !   £69pp

"Don't Just Stand There !" An intensive one day course - combining classroom theory and practical.
Next Course 25th April 2009
This course is a full day aimed at surfers who can stand up consistently...and that’s about it!  The lesson has half day in the class room covering subjects such as wave judgement, speed generation, body rotational movement, bottom turns and angle take offs using video and demonstrations.  It also looks at safety areas such as Rocks, rips and other top tips.

Then take a break for lunch. After that we go in search of the best local surf spot and spend the whole afternoon in the water practicing the skills you have learnt in the morning.  You will have full in the water coaching with our fully Qualified British Surf Association instructors who are qualified to teach beginners, intermediates and competition level surfers.

Classroom therory plus on the water practical coaching

"The morning session was excellent & exactly what I was after; an explanation of the main aspects relating to the sport. However, the afternoon surfing brought things into sharp focus. I need to get to my feet quicker & have taken on-board your advice. Although obviously frustrating, I am determined to advance & once I have broken this particular physical hurdle I will able to apply the rest of the course elements you taught on Saturday. I suppose it's one step at a time, patience & practice.
Thanks once again for great day. (Dont Just Stand There Course). Regards.Rej"

Dont Just Stand there - improve your surfing

This whole day costs just £69 and lasts around eight hours or longer if the surfs really good!!  It also includes lunch and use of any equipment if you need it.

This course is solely aimed at surfers who want to move on to the next level, learning how to put in solid turns and getting around sections etc, it is for people who really want to move on in their surfing instead of just riding to the shore...hence the course name.

This course is a full on day, but will definitely improve your knowledge not to mention your surfing ability.  It’s a good idea to bring pens / paper for notes as there is a lot of content throughout.
