"Don't Just Stand There !" An intensive one day course - combining classroom theory and practical.
Next Course April 5th 2008
This course is a full day aimed at surfers who can stand up consistently...and that’s about it! The lesson has half day in the class room covering subjects such as wave judgement, speed generation, body rotational movement, bottom turns and angle take offs using video and demonstrations. It also looks at safety areas such as Rocks, rips and other top tips.

Where We meet:
We meet up for all our lessons at the National Trust car Park, near baggy Point in Croyde. Head from Croyde Village towards the Beach and Ruda, along Moor lane. Keep going past Ruda and follow the road until Baggy Point - you cant go any further and you will see the national Trust car park on your right hand side.

Wed...2ft surf this morning as the tide pushes up from low, with light, mainly Easterly offshore winds throughout the day. The surf is well shaped, crisp and clean, with fun waves all day, getting a little smaller towards the afternoon.1600hrs ...0-1ft with maybe the odd bigger set, the surf is a lot smaller as the tide drops away from high, still enough for a long board. Glorious, balmy evening.
Enjoy your surf, stay safe. If you're not sure about the conditions, ask for advice! If there are no lifeguards on the beach of your choice, ask for advice in the surf hire shops, or check out the surf schools.
